Olend
Ölend is a handmade backpacks brand founded in Barcelona by Adriana Dumon, Fran Rios & Antonio Longás in late 2012.
Olend backpacks are inspired by the spirit of the mountaineers, co-founder Adriana’s father is a french alpinist. The idea for Olend backpacks was conceived in London. Exploring the city, founders Fran and Adriana were inspired by the creativity of style, and wanted to create an accessory they loved but at an affordable price.
Catalunya has a rich history in textile manufacturing, but it’s unfortunately been in decline for many years. Olend are proud to support their heritage and local production, sourcing their materials locally and hand making their bags in Barcelona. As a result, their handmade bags have an beautiful organic and completely artisanal feel with no two backpacks identical.
Our designs are inspired by northern mountaineers with a hint of our Mediterranean roots and our backpacks are made for the modern pioneers. The ones that changed mountains for cities, and summits for creative projects.
