Earl of East
Earl of East make hand-poured, soy wax scented candles in East London. Each of their scents are inspired by the travels of the two founders Niko Dafkos and Paul Firmin. Starting out in 2014 as a market stall specialising in vintage curiosities, Earl of East launched their deliciously scented and very successful range of hand-poured soy candles in 2015.
“We see Earl of East London as a multi-sensorial brand. Not content with working in isolation, we strive to collaborate with others. Our list of past and present partners feature ceramicists, chocolatiers, and leather makers. We have worked with both artisans and global brands and we’ve taught the art of candle making across Europe. ”
We're inspired by travel more than a particular person. However, it's hard not to look at people who have created a new category, product industry and be inspired by their determination and tenacity.
