Cork Yogis
Cork Yogis founded by Lara in South London and make environmentally friendly, super grip yoga mats. Cork harvested sustainably from living trees, the cork re-grows every 8-9 years and does not harm the trees. Cork Yogis also source products made by works at the Indian Destiny Charity that helps rescue young girls and women from forced prostitution and sex slavery.
I came up with the idea of CorkYogis after a trip to Kolatta to see my relatives. I am half English and half Indian on my dads side and have been out to India a few times. I wanted to create changes for vulnerable women in India whilst combining the business with a passion of mine, Yoga.
